Please read this privacy statement if you would like to know more about the way Emervill.org (hereinafter referred to as “Emervill” or “we”) collect and further process your personal data.
It is important to us that your personal data is treated with care and that you are well informed about the way we process your personal data. We have written this privacy statement to tell you which data we process, how, why and how long we do this for and to inform you about your rights.
When you visit the Emervill website, correspond with us, are (or are in the process of becoming) one of our donors or partners, and where we process your transaction as a donnors, we process personal data about you as a data controller.

When, why and how do we process your data?
When you browse our website, the hosting server process your IP address, internet browser and device type, approximate location data and your use of our website, including which pages you visited, how you got to our website, the time and length of your visit and your language preferences.
We use this data for our legitimate interests of making sure our website works properly, including debugging, to be able to deliver you content and for DDOS mitigation on our website, and improving our website and to perform statistical analyses for optimizing our website.
Via our website, you can contact us or ask us to contact you regarding questions, queries, comments or complaints, filling out a form to send us a email. When you do this, we collect the information that you fill out, including your name, company, contact details, the reason you are contacting us, verification that you are not a robot and other information you decide to provide us. You can also contact us by e-mailing us using for example the contact details listed on our website. If you do so, we will collect your name, company and any other information we need to be of further assistance to you and/or communicate with you.
We use this data above to answer your question, comment or complaint and respond to your queries.
Emervil Foundation processes personal data when you make a donation, such as your name, company, contact details. The privacy of our donors and partners is of great importance to us. The personal data is therefore handled and secured with the utmost possible care. Personal data is processed in accordance with the legal provisions such as the Personal Data Protection Act, and the General Data Protection Regulation, as of 25 May 2018.
To protect your personal data, we take appropriate security measures. For example, you always make a donation via a secure payment environment. This way others do not get the chance to secretly observe your transactions. Via SSL (Secure Socket Layers) your transaction data will be sent encrypted over the internet. You will recognize a secure SSL connection by the https:// in your address bar.
Does Emervill share personal data with third parties?
Your personal data will not be rented, sold or otherwise shared with or provided to third parties. Emervill may share your personal data with third parties only when you have given your consent.
Emervill may provide personal data to law enforcement authorities or anti-fraud organizations when this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
How long do we keep your data?

You can submit requests via our contact form. We will process your request within one month. In case of the aforementioned requests, we will ask you to identify yourself, so that we can be sure that we are not modifying or deleting data of a wrong person.
